TREMERLIN

Tremerlin is a Unique 1920's Artist's/Yachtsman's retreat, magnificently situated in an elevated position on the south bank of the Helford river, surrounded by private woodland adjacent to Frenchman's Creek.
The Apartment has been refurbished using lots of painted tongue and groove boarding, old pine doors, red cedar (reclaimed from an old cider vat) and blue slate. The furnishings, as with the house are an artistic and eclectic mixture, the bed mattresses however, are all new. The accommodation comprises 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 1 twin bedroom (that can be zipped into a double) with en-suite bathroom, and a small bunk room based on a cabin on the Night Riviera train, all with river views. The kitchen and living area are open plan with fabulous river views, the dining area is in an extended bay window with French doors that lead out onto the patio and veranda. Heating is provided by night storage heaters and a wood/coal stove in the living area.
There is an electric cooker with ceramic hob in the kitchen as well as a microwave, fridge, freezer, electric kettle, dishwasher and washing machine. An ironing board, airer and iron are also provided. Hot water is provided via a hot water cylinder with electric immersion. All beds have good firm mattresses along with two pillows and duvet. A high chair and cot are available.
Tremerlin boasts a stunning quay, slipway and moorings alongside the award winning boat house that houses the owners collection of classic boats. Fabulous walks from the property with beaches, surfing, galleries etc a short while away. Numerous restaurants, shops and pubs close by.
